OHIO — With the Midterm elections just weeks away, the country will be watching the way Ohioans vote.
Vice President JD Vance has visited Ohio twice since August. President Donald Trump was in Youngstown on Monday, but held a campaign rally at Vandalia Butler High School earlier in the month.

As reported on News Center 7’s Daybreak, Cedarville University President Mark Caleb says the visits make him believe that Ohio is important.
“The president has limited resources of time, and the fact that they’re coming back to Ohio tells me they think it’s still in play,” he said.
Caleb said with the Senate race hanging in the balance, it’s “driving a lot of concern out of the White House.”
A Bellbrook woman who was out early voting said this was an important election.
“Well, I think it’s an important state... People should get out and vote and do their civic duty,” said Lori Bridges.
Kim Daily from Cedarville said that White House leaders are pushing for what they think the state needs.
Caleb believes that President Trump and JD Vance will make more visits to Ohio before the Midterm Election.
Early voting ends on Nov. 1.
