MIAMI COUNTY — UPDATE @ 6:00 p.m.:
A man is in custody after an hours-long investigation in Miami County.
Deputies were called to the 4000 block of South Shiloh Road around noon for reports of a barricaded person, according to the Miami County Sheriff’s Office.

Milton-Union Exempted Village School District was on soft lockdown due to the investigation, and around 4 p.m., a controlled release was authorized, according to a spokesperson for the district.
Around 6 p.m., our crew spotted SWAT officers arriving on scene on South Shiloh Road.
Shortly after, a spokesperson for the sheriff’s office told us a man was in custody.
