According to Franklin Police Sergeant Patrick Holland, Clearcreek Township police responded to a group of juveniles breaking into vehicles early Tuesday morning.
Franklin Police later located the suspect vehicle, a stolen Ford F-150, and initiated a chase.
The Ford hit a curb at State Route -725 and I-75 in Miamisburg, and flattened the front driver’s tire.
Both occupants of the Ford, two juveniles, got out of the vehicle, and a foot pursuit started, according to Holland.
Miamisburg Police Chief Mike Brem confirmed to News Center 7’s Taylor Robertson that Miamisburg officers responded to assist Franklin Police. They used a drone to locate the suspects.
One juvenile ran into the woods and was taken into custody. The other male juvenile was not located.
The Ford will be processed and then given back to the owners, according to Holland.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating the crash. The theft investigation remains ongoing.
