BEAVERCREEK — UPDATE @ 11:50 p.m.:

A shooter is dead and four others are hurt after a shooting at a Beavercreek Walmart Monday evening.

Beavercreek Police Capt. Scott Molnar confirmed that the shooter is dead from a suspected self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Molnar said there were four people hurt in the shooting and information about their conditions is not available at this time.

It is believed the male shooter who died was the only suspect involved.

The Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigations, The Federal Bureau of Investigations, and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives are assisting on scene, Molnar said.

Police said additional information will be released by police Tuesday morning.

INITIAL REPORT:

At least one person is dead and three others are injured after a shooting at a Beavercreek Walmart Monday evening.

Around 8:30 p.m. officers from around Greene County were called to the Walmart on Pentagon Boulevard.

The Greene County Coroner’s Office confirmed they were called to the scene, according to a spokesperson.

Soin Medical Center confirmed they received three patients from the scene, but were unable to share information about the patients’ conditions.

The Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigations confirmed to News Center 7 that they were requested to help process the scene.

It is not known if the coroner was called for the suspected shooter or a victim of the shooting.

We are working to learn how many people were injured in total and what led up to the shooting.

A presser is scheduled to be held around midnight, according to a Beavercreek spokesperson.
