FRANKLIN — UPDATE @ 2:50 p.m.:
Injuries have been reported after a train derailed in Warren County on Thursday.

An initial investigation found that a Norfolk Southern train was traveling northwest on the railway from the Atlast Roofing rail yard at 675 Oxford Road.
The train derailed near Forest Avenue and Chestnut Street.
Three of the five total rail cars derailed; two cars were suspended, and one car overturned, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

The car overturn caused diesel fuel to leak.
The Ohio EPA was notified.
One of the two rail cars that did not derail was fully loaded with argon.
Three people were on the train when it derailed; all were taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.
The area is temporarily closed to all traffic.
The area remains closed to traffic while crews investigate.
