Fire crews had to work in below-freezing temperatures for hours to extinguish the flames.

“We brought in a couple of ambulances. We’re rotating crews as they get a free moment to step in one of our ambulances and get out warm temporarily, come back out,” Kettering Fire Department Battalion Chief Brett Davenport said.

No one was inside the store when crews arrived on scene.

The shop was planning to close down soon and was offering discounts on appliances and furniture.

No injuries were reported in this fire.

The Ohio State Fire Marshal’s office is investigating to learn what caused the flames.
