A few strong storms possible this evening

We've already see one severe storm south of Dayton. A few more are possible over the next several hours. — As a cold front swings through this afternoon, isolated to scattered thunderstorms are expected to develop. One storm already turned severe with damaging winds of 60MPH around 2PM today. A few more storms may produce strong to damaging wind gusts between now and sunset tonight.

After today’s storm threat, the weather quiets down overall. We could see isolated light rain showers on Sunday, but most of the area remains dry. Another chance for storms comes our way on Thursday. Otherwise, it is a dry week ahead.

It will feel like fall too. High temperatures Monday and Tuesday will only be in the middle 70s which is more typical of late September. Morning lows will fall to the low and mid 50s Monday morning and mid 50s Tuesday morning. If you’re a fan of cooler weather, enjoy it while we have it.
