MIAMI TWP. — A man previously facing assault charges for stabbing two women in 2018 was indicted on murder charges Wednesday, following the death of one of the victims in October 2019.

Duane Edward Taylor Jr., 31, of Moraine, was indicted by a Montgomery County Grand Jury on additional charge of murder connected to the December 2018 attack. He was previously indicted in January 2019 on four counts of felonious assault and one count of retaliation, the Montgomery County Prosecutor’s Office said in a media release.

Ronda Neal, 53, died from her injuries on October 22, 2019, prosecutors said, which prompted the additional murder charge indictment today.

Neal and another woman were inside a car on Crew Circle in Miami Twp. when they were stabbed. Prosecutors said both victims were able to identify Taylor as the attacker.
Taylor remains in the Montgomery County Jail. He will be arraigned on the new charge April 6.
