Bond $250,000 for Moraine man accused of stabbing 2 women in Miami Twp.

MIAMI TWP., Montgomery County — UPDATE @ 1:18 p.m. (Jan. 15):

A Moraine man charged with stabbing two women in late December in Miami Twp. remains in jail on a $250,000 bond.

The bond for Duane Edward Taylor Jr., was continued today and a judge added a conditional recognizance stipulation of electronic home monitoring, Montgomery County court records show.

He was previously indicted on retaliation and four counts of felonious assault.

Taylor, 30, remained in Montgomery County Jail after a court appearance today and was ordered to take part in the electronic home detention program, should he post bond, after his Friday indictment, court records show.

A Moraine man accused of stabbing two women in late December at the Barclay Square Condominiums is due in court Tuesday morning.

Duane Edward Taylor Jr., 30, was indicted Friday for retaliation and four counts of felonious assault, according to a Montgomery County grand jury report.

The women were getting inside a van at the time of the Dec. 28 attack. Both are healing from their injuries.

Taylor was dating the daughter of one of the stabbing victims, a family member said.

Miami Twp. police said the incident appeared to stem from a family dispute, and that the suspect and victims did not live at the condo complex.
