Man struck in Christmas hit-and-run has died

DAYTON — A pedestrian struck in a Christmas hit-and-run has died, according to the Montgomery County Coroner’s Office.

Hilary Williams, 67, died Tuesday.

The vehicle has four doors and tinted windows and would have damage to the front right side and a broken right headlight.

He was hit around 7 p.m. on Christmas in the 400 block of Dearborn Avenue by a dark vehicle — possible an SUV, according to Dayton police.

Williams suffered a skull fracture, internal bleeding and multiple broken bones, including his pelvis, leg, cheekbones and left eye socket.
