For the second time this month, there will be an increased police presence at Wayne High School on Friday because of a threatening message written in a school restroom.

Huber Heights City Schools administration is actively investigating the threat, district officials stated in a message on the city schools web page.
On Oct. 11, there was an increased police presence at the school after a post on social media threatening a shooting at a “WHS.”
"HHCS is cooperating with the Huber Heights Police Department to further investigate the matter."
District officials investigated and determined the post was not a credible threat to students.
The district did not believe whoever posted the threat was a Wayne student or that the person posted a threat to students, a district official said.
