State troopers from the Batavia Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP) responded just after 10 p.m. to U.S. 50 on a motorcycle crash in Clermont County, according to an OSHP spokesperson.

An initial investigation showed that Koppe was driving a 2013 Harley-Davidson Forty-Eight motorcycle southeast on U.S. 50 when she lost control and overturned the motorcycle.
The Harley-Davidson went off the left side of the road and hit a guardrail. Koppe was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, OSHP said.
A medical helicopter flew Koppe to the hospital, where she later died.
The crash remains under investigation.
