DAYTON — Winter Storm Landon is making its way through the country, carrying with it a mess of snow, sleet and freezing rain.
The impacts of the storm are causing many flights to be canceled and some delayed at Dayton International Airport.

According to Dayton International Airport’s website, some flights to Detroit, Dallas-Fort Worth, Chicago, Detroit, Washington D.C., Charlotte, Atlanta and Philadelphia were canceled.
Several arriving flights from New York, Dallas-Fort Worth, Chicago, Atlanta, Detroit, Washington D.C., Charlotte, Philadelphia, have also been canceled.

Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport has canceled all of its remaining departures due to the freezing rain and ice that’s hit the Tri-State on Thursday, according to our news partners at WCPO.
Airlines began canceling and re-booking flights on Wednesday due to weather forecasts.
According to Mindy Kershner, spokesperson for CVG, American and Delta airlines managed to have a few departures until noon, WCPO reported. There are no more flights scheduled to leave the airport on Thursday.
