Search warrants lead to drugs, other items seized

DAYTON — A local police department conducted two search warrants on the same day and seized drugs, guns and jewelry.

On October 6, the Dayton Police Department (DPD) searched locations on Warder Street, which is off of N. Main Street.

DPD found 6,481 grams of methamphetamine, 806 grams of fentanyl, 809 grams of cocaine and two gallons of promethazine, a Facebook post said.

Additionally, police found several hundred suspected pressed fentanyl pills, two pill press machines, one rifle, two pistols, $1,486.00 and jewelry worth about $100,000.

Police said a 35- year-old man and a 45-year-old man will face pending charges in relation to the searches.
