DAYTON — UPDATE @ 2:07 p.m.:
A man was injured after a crash left him trapped in a vehicle on Thursday morning.

The crash was reported in the area of N. James H. McGee Boulevard and N. Gettysburg Avenue around 11:24 a.m.

In an update, a spokesperson for the Dayton Police Department said responding officers found a vehicle off the side of the road with the driver trapped inside.
The driver, only identified as a male, had to be mechanically cut out of the vehicle.
He was taken to a local hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
