MIAMI VALLEY — UPDATE @9:45 p.m.:
More than 40 people are currently without power in parts of the Miami Valley.
As of 9:45 p.m., AES Ohio is reporting that 21 customers are experiencing outages. Duke Energy is reporting that 24 customers in Butler and Preble counties are without power.

In an update shared on social media, AES Ohio said its crews are working to restore power safely and reminded everyone to stay away from any down power lines.
Here are the areas that are experiencing outages in our area:
- Butler County: 22
- Greene County: 17
- Montgomery County: 3
- Preble County: 3
