URBANA — The Champaign County Historical Society is hosting its 49th Annual Oktoberfest today.
The festival is set to take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Champaign County Historical Society Museum on 809 E Lawn Avenue.
There will be food choices including corn dogs, funnel cakes, chicken tenders, fried Oreos, pretzel bites, hot dogs, BBQ ribs, pulled pork, pulled chicken, nachos and tacos, according to event organizers.
Schmidt’s Restaurant from German Village, Columbus will be at the event serving knockwurst, German bologna, German potato salad, kraut, sweet red cabbage, pork or chicken brats and jumbo cream puffs.
There will also be a beer trailer offering a variety of beverages.

The museum says crafters and artists will be selling hand thrown pottery, candles, wreaths, holiday décor, pumpkins, woodcrafts, scented oils, handmade quilts, jewelry and more.
Admission is $3 per person through cash payments only.
