UPDATE: Power restored for most after outages in Montgomery County

MONTGOMERY COUNTY — UPDATE: @ 2:42 p.m.

Power has been restored for most after thousands of AES Ohio customers were without power in Montgomery County Wednesday.

UPDATE @ 12:26 p.m.:

Over 1,000 AES Ohio customers are without power in Montgomery County Wednesday.

As of 12:26 p.m., 1,078 customers in Montgomery County are still without power. At the height of the outage, over 3,000 customers were experiencing an outage.

Customers without power are east of Trotwood, according to a spokesperson for AES Ohio. A cause for the outages has not been determined at this time; however, crews are on scene working to restore power.

Several hundred customers are also without power in Vandalia after a line was cut. Crews are on scene making repairs.
