Tremayne Burdine ended up being arrested in Montgomery, Alabama and was brought back to the Miami Valley.

“After an argument, the defendant fatally shot the victim. He then gathered the children, put them in the car, drove them to a relative’s home, and left,” prosecutors said. “The children told the relative that their father had shot their mother.”

The shooting happened on Nov. 14 around 9:45 a.m. in the 1100 block of Vernon Drive.
