BELLBROOK — The former Huber Heights City Manager and Bellbrook’s former assistant to the city manager are among the people who have applied to be the next city manager in the Greene County city.
Rob Schommer, who resigned as city manager in Huber Heights in March, is one of 15 people who have already applied for the job.

Current City Manager Melissa Dodd’s last day with the city will be next month after council accepted her resignation. Dodd will be taking a position as finance director at the city of Fairborn.
Don Buczek, who is currently serving as the finance director for the city of Moraine and previously worked as the assistant to former Bellbrook City Manager Mark Schlagheck, also has applied for the job.
The city council hopes to meet sometime early next month to review the applicants, according to Bellbrook Clerk of Council Pamela Timmons.
The only other applicant with current ties to the city was Jodi Martin, who is currently the government services supervisor at the Miami Valley Communications Council and also the Executive Director of the Bellbrook Sugarcreek Chamber of Commerce.
