Flood watch now issued through Wednesday in the Miami Valley

DAYTON — A flood watch means the conditions are favorable for the rivers, creeks, streams and roads to flood by Wednesday afternoon. Hey it’s Storm Center 7 Meteorologist Ryan Marando.

The flood watch is for areas along and south of I-70. Two to three inches of rain is possible. Please don’t drive through flooded roads if you encounter them.

The heaviest band will set up tonight south of Dayton and could continue through the overnight hours, which is prompting the flood concern.
