Fire crews made an aggressive attack Sunday morning for a house fire in the 100 block of Cambridge Avenue, Dayton Fire District Chief Adam Landis said.

Crews responded around 6:45 a.m. to a working fire at a 2.5-story, wood frame duplex.

Landis said no civilians or firefighters were injured, and the estimated damage is $20,000.

Heavy fire was showing from the rear of the structure and “crews made an aggressive interior attack and were able to knock the fire down,” Landis said.

Initial reports indicated there was an active power line down behind the home, but the cause is still under investigation.
