Father facing charges after infant twins suffer fractured ribs

KETTERING — A father is facing charges after two infant twins were taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

Jacob Lewis was indicted by a Montgomery County Grand Jury on endangering children charges.

Two 8-week-old twins were taken to Dayton Children’s Hospital with injuries, including rib fractures and other signs of child endangering, according to a spokesperson for the Montgomery County Prosecutor’s Office.

Court documents allege the incidents that led to the charges happened from October 17, 2025, through December 15, 2025.

Lewis is the babies’ biological father.

He is not in custody, and a warrant has been issued.

Lewis is set to be arraigned on April 16.
