COLUMBUS — A son accidentally shot his father in Ohio on Tuesday night.

Officers responded at around 10:35 p.m. to a reported shooting in Columbus, according to our news partner WBNS TV.

When officers arrived, they found a man who had been shot.
Police determined that the boy accidentally shot his father, according to Columbus Police.
Medics transported the father to a hospital in stable condition, and he is expected to survive, police told WBNS.
It is unknown if any charges will be filed.
