MONTGOMERY COUNTY — The Dayton Bomb Squad was called to a Trotwood neighborhood after a bomb was reportedly found on Monday, a Montgomery County dispatch supervisor confirmed.

Authorities responded to the 5000 block of W Third Street before 5 p.m.

The supervisor added that this incident is possibly related to an arson call in the area over the weekend.
News Center 7 crews on scene saw several Trotwood police officers and other crews in unmarked cars and plainclothes.
Our crews watched as authorities focused their attention on one of the buildings in the area.
News Center 7 requested additional information on scene; however, no one was available to speak with us.
We reached out to the Trotwood Police Department and the Dayton Police Department for details on this incident.
