BEAVERCREEK — A Beavercreek mother and daughter have teamed up to turn a dream into a reality after COVID-19 changed their plans.
Thursday night is the Grand Opening of “Pure Studios Performing Arts.”
Rene’e and Tori Targgart are partners in the business, which will specialize in everything from dancing, acting and singing to competition.
Tori will be teaching many of the classes.
When COVID hit, she was studying at a performing arts school in New York until everything changed.
“The school shut down and I had to graduate online. Up until that point, my dream was to perform on Broadway and do what I loved,” Tori said, “I worked my whole life for this and I have such a huge passion, then I had to step back and re-evaluate what happens next.”
The studio’s open house will take place from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, at the facility off Dayton-Xenia Road.
