DAYTON -- A female inmate from the Secure Transitional Offender Program (S.T.O.P.) escaped Monday morning.

She fled from a community service work assignment and did not return to the program facility, 1901 S. Gettysburg Ave., according to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.
A security guard told police she was supervising six inmates at St. Paul Church, 101 Huffman Ave., when she was notified that a church representative found a pair of orange uniform pants.

All but one inmate was accounted for.
According to the sheriff’s office, the inmate is white, about 30 years old, 5 feet 7 inches tall, 155 pounds, is blond and has green eyes.

Her last known address was in the 4400 block of Bryant Avenue in Dayton.
She is being sought on a warrant for probation violation.
The goals of S.T.O.P. include expediting access to intervention services to probationers in the Montgomery County Jail, as well as requiring probationers to pay back the community through the work detail and community service projects.
