Area humane society shelter closed due to maintenance

DAYTON — The Humane Society of Greater Dayton announced its animal shelter is closed due to maintenance.

The animal shelter is closed now until May 1 and will reopen on May 2, according to social media.

The Dayton Humane Veterinary Hospital and Spay and Neuter Clinic will stay open.

The Humane Society of Greater Dayton is still scheduled to holds its adoption event at their dog park on April 28, weather permitting.
