AUGLAIZE COUNTY — A 30-year-old man died after being ejected from his vehicle during a crash in Auglaize County over the weekend.

In the early morning hours of Sunday, August 23, Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP) Troopers with the Wapakoneta Post were dispatched to US Route 33 eastbound near Milepost 6 on reports of a crash.

The preliminary investigation showed that a Dodge Caliber, operated by30-year-old Zachary Huff of Celina, was traveling eastbound on US Route 33.
The Dodge drove off the left side of the roadway, returned to the roadway, and then overturned.
The Dodge then went off the right side of the roadway and struck a fence. Huff was ejected from the vehicle.
Huff was pronounced dead at the scene. He was not wearing a safety belt at the time of the crash, according to the OSHP.
Alcohol is suspected to be a factor in the crash.
The crash remains under investigation by the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
