2 transported to hospital after injury crash in Springfield

SPRINGFIELD — Two people were taken to Springfield Regional Medical Center after crashing into a pole on the 2400 block of East High Street in Springfield overnight.

Springfield Regional dispatch tells us crews were called out to the scene of an injury crash around 1:40 a.m.

When crews arrived they found that one person was dragged out of the vehicle by an unknown party.

The conditions of the two patients are unknown at this time.
