2 teens, 1 man shot in separate shootings in Dayton

DAYTON — Police continue to investigate two separate shootings in Dayton last weekend.

Officer and medics responded to the first shooting just after 2:30 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 19, at the 500 block of E. Siebenthaler Avenue, according to Dayton Police Lt. Steven Bauer.

Two male victims, a 16-year-old, and a 19-year-old, were found at another location and transported to an area hospital.

As previously reported by News Center 7, crews responded to the 4000 block old Riverside Drive in Harrison Township early Sunday morning.

The 19-year-old man suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

The second shooting happened on Sunday, Jan. 19, at the 3200 block of East Fifth Street.

Bauer told News Center 7 that officers responded to reports of a person shot.

Upon arrival, they found a 14-year-old male shot. Medics transported to an area hospital with a non-life-threatening injury.

Dayton Police continue to investigate both incidents.
