News Center 7 was at both locations, where police and investigators were on the scene. Our crew watched as officers carried out bag after bag of evidence from the house. We also watched as the Riverside Fire Department helped officers open a safe.
As we showed you on News Center 7 at 5:00, our crew caught officers carrying out a large tote from the bar and loading it into a police van.
Investigators were serving search warrants in connection to a months-long narcotics investigation. They seized drugs, money, and some guns.

News Center 7 was initially told that a man and woman were taken into custody during the investigation, but officials later clarified that one suspect, a man, was taken into custody during a traffic stop away from the two locations. Chris Fairchild, the public information officer for TCSU, said charges would be “forthcoming.”
News Center 7′s Xavier Hershovitz reached out to the bar on Facebook about the raid. It shows that they saw his message, but at the time of his report, they haven’t gotten back to him.
