RIVERSIDE — A search and recovery organization is planning a two-day search this weekend for missing Riverside mother Cheryl Coker, whose disappearance is considered a homicide.

The Midwest chapter of Texas EquuSearch announced Tuesday on social media that a team will be in the area Saturday and Sunday.
Texas EquuSearch will not announce where they will search, and Director David Rader is urging people who spot them to not stop, photograph or reveal their location to protect the criminal investigation.
Coker, 47, was last seen Oct. 2. Her disappearance is considered a homicide, and the Riverside Police Department announced last month that Coker’s husband, William “Bill” Coker, is a suspect. He has not been charged and has told News Center 7 that he is innocent: “I’ve never in my entire life hurt anyone,” he previously said.
The upcoming search will be the group’s third in the area.

On Saturday, approximately 15 to 20 people using trained dogs and ATVs searched an undisclosed wooded area for Cheryl Coker. The group also searched areas in Riverside on Feb. 24.
