Butler Twp. — Fire crews rescued two people from the Stillwater River near Old Springfield Road in Butler Twp. early Monday morning, according to initial reports.

Multiple boats were deployed on to the Stillwater River around 5 a.m. to search for the two.
It’s unknown at this time if either person suffered any injuries.
News Center 7 crews arrived on the scene as rescue crews were clearing the scene.
