Coronavirus: Order outlining reporting COVID-19 cases in schools expected this week, DeWine says

COLUMBUS — Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine said an order will be issued later this week that will outline how schools will report COVID-19 cases.

DeWine discussed the order during Tuesday’s coronavirus briefing, saying the order was not yet complete, but it will be soon. As a part of the order, the Ohio Department of Health will issued a report once a week on COVID-19 cases in schools, DeWine said.

In the Miami Valley, multiple school districts have reported positive cases involving students and employees since classes have resumed.
