WPAFB Monday Weather: Rain, snow showers to start the work week; Wind Advisory issued

WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE — A messy start to the Monday morning commute, according to Storm Center 7 Meteorologist Molly Coates.

Rain showers will continue into the morning, with a few of those possibly mixing into a wintry mix.

Temperatures will be chilly reaching 37 degrees.

As we head into the afternoon and evening hours, there’s a chance for lingering snow showers.

Expect mostly cloudy skies, with winds coming from the southwest between 15 and 25mph, and gusts as high as 45 mph.

A Wind Advisory is in effect until 3 p.m. this afternoon.
