Warmer-than-normal weather and a second December severe weather outbreak impacted the Midwest this week. In the Miami Valley, new records were set for the warm Wednesday we saw.
On December 15, the temperature never dropped below 49 degrees, which tied the record for warmest low temperature that was set back in 1971. In the afternoon, Dayton soared to 63 degrees, which also tied the record for the high temperature of 63 degrees set back in 1948.
