The Futscher family from San Rafael, California is lucky to be alive after a mudslide damaged their home recently. John Futscher and his family escaped with just the clothes on their backs."Public works told us to leave. Mud started coming out of the kitchen window and thats when my wife and my son and i ran our of the house with the dog." said Futscher. The family home built by his parents in the 50’s was crushed by Mother Natures storm.
Kids’ toys, family furniture, generations of memories now buried under a mountain of mud and debris.
