Two years ago today, seven people had to be rescued after a tornado ripped through their home in Cedarville.
The tornado touched down around 5:45 p.m., just west of Stringtown Road in Greene County. It rapidly intensified, peaking as an EF-3 on the damage scale with maximum wind speeds of 145 mph.
Fortunately,although the path of the tornado would stretch up to 9 miles, no injuries or fatalities were reported.
