DETAILED FORECAST:
OVERNIGHT: Clear skies and temperatures falling through the 60s. Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist McCall Vrydaghs says skies remain clear tonight with a low of around 50 degrees.
SATURDAY: Mostly sunny to start Saturday then a few more afternoon/evening clouds arrive but staying dry.
It will be a warmer day with highs rising into the middle 70s. Clouds increase at night with showers and storms arriving from the northwest before daybreak.
SUNDAY: Showers and storms will be moving through the Miami Valley Sunday morning.
Little to no threat of severe weather, but isolated gusty winds, heavy rain, and lightning are expected.
By midday, the storms should be over and partly sunny skies will remain for the remainder of the day. Highs will warm into the upper 70s.
MONDAY: Another chance for showers and storms is expected on Monday. Despite the storms, temperatures will likely reach the upper 70s to around 80 degrees. If Dayton reaches 80 degrees, it will be the first time since April 20th.
TUESDAY: Partly cloudy and warm on Tuesday. Highs climb to the upper 70s. An isolated shower or storm is possible.
WEDNESDAY: Dry again by Wednesday. Sunny skies and highs in the middle 70s
THURSDAY: Mostly sunny and warm for Thursday with highs approaching 80 degrees.
FRIDAY: Partly sunny with a stray shower or storm possible. Warm again with a high nearing 80 degrees.
