OVERNIGHT (STORM TRACKING ALERT): Partly and mostly cloudy with a stray storm possible, including a strong one, less hazy.

Storm Center 7 Meteorologist Robert Gauthreaux says temperatures will drop to near 70 degrees.

SATURDAY: Chance of showers and thunderstorms, some of which could become strong. Warm and humid.

Highs in the mid-80s.

SUNDAY: Partly cloudy with a few storms remaining possible.

Highs in the low 80s.

MONDAY: Increasing rain chances. A few rumbles of thunder are possible throughout the afternoon. High temperatures in the lower 80s.

TUESDAY (JULY 4TH): Partly sunny skies with a stray shower possible. Temperatures in the middle 80s.

WEDNESDAY: Drier conditions with sunshine. Very warm with highs in the upper 80s.
