The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has announced the recall of more than 27,000 vehicles made by Volvo.
The automaker has recalled some 2023 vehicles because of a diagnostic error that could cause a loss of the antilock brake system, electronic stability control and traction control, the NHTSA said.
The company will send an over-the-air software update, free of charge to correct the issue.
The following models are affected:
- S60
- V60
- V60CC
- V90CC
- XC60
- XC90
- XC40
- C40
Volvo will send letters to owners of affected vehicles around March 15, according to the NHTSA.
If you have questions, you can call Volvo customer service at 800-458-1552.
The recall number issued by Volvo is R10217.
