The Camaro’s owner hit something on Interstate 240 and didn’t see what it was, according to Kelvin Jones, a worker at the body shop.

When employees began working to fix the damage, they saw the animal staring back at him, Jones said.

The owner of the Camaro took the car to be fixed Tuesday morning, WHBQ reported.

“It was alive. That was the shocking part of the story to me,” Jones told WHBQ

A wildlife official came to remove the animal. He used a pole to grab the animal and pull it out.

The bobcat survived but has a broken leg, Jones said.
