The show will be now air live on May 23, Billboard announced Monday.

Not many details concerning the upcoming shows were given, including performers and presenters, who will be announced at a later time, Billboard said.

The 2021 show comes seven months after the airing of the 2020 Billboard Music Awards which were given out in October, delayed from its original May 2020 date, because of the coronavirus pandemic. The show was hosted by Kelly Clarkson but was held without a live audience, according to Rolling Stone.

According to Billboard, the nominees and winners “are based on fan interactions with music, including album and digital song sales, streaming, radio airplay, touring and social engagement, tracked by Billboard and its data partners, including MRC Data.
