ELYRIA, Ohio — Four family members were found dead inside a northern Ohio home on Saturday night, authorities said.
According to the Elyria Police Department, 911 dispatchers received a call at about 11:45 p.m. EDT, WOIO-TV reported.
Police said the caller told the dispatcher that he had killed his family and was going to take his own life as well, according to the television station. The man then disconnected the call.
Officers arriving at the scene found a locked door at the home and forced their way inside, WKYC-TV reported. Police discovered four bodies, which were determined to be family members, according to the television station.
The names of the people have not been released, along with any other details.
Police said the incident appeared to be isolated and that there was no threat to the community.
