Former Dayton Flyer guard Dwayne Cohill arrested

YOUNGSTOWN — Former Dayton Flyer guard Dwayne Cohill was arrested Friday morning by Youngstown State University Police.

He is facing two charges, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct, according to Mahoning County Sheriff’s jails records.

Cohill was released on his own recognizance Friday.

He played three seasons for the University of Dayton men’s basketball team, appeared in 33 games and missed the 2020-21 season due to a torn ACL in his left knee.

Cohill transferred to Youngstown State and played two seasons for the Penguins.

Youngstown Athletics said they are aware of the situation with Cohill and cooperating with police.
