SUMMIT COUNTY — Summit County Sheriff’s deputies are searching for an escaped Northern Ohio inmate.

Jason Lyle Conrad was handcuffed and in a boot for a previous injury.
He has charges of willfully fleeing, possession of drugs, trafficking in drugs, and a parole violation.
While a deputy was removing him from a transport vehicle, Conrad was able to escape and run away after moving the boot, the Summit County Sheriff’s Office posted on social media.
Multiple agencies are assisting in the search.
