DAYTON, Ohio — Officials at Sinclair Community College announced Monday morning that it expects to hold graduation commencement on Thursday, May 6 with two in-person ceremonies.
The ceremonies will take place at the University of Dayton Arena. A press release said that each ceremony will consist of approximately 500 graduates with up to four guests per graduate.
Sinclair said safety is top priority as it works to align the ceremonies with state and local health protocols due to the COVID-19 global pandemic.

One ceremony is schedule for 10 a.m. and will consist of Business and Public Services, Liberal Arts, Communication and Social Services degrees.
The second ceremony is scheduled for 4 p.m. and will consist of Health Sciences, Science, Math and Engineering.
Due to safety protocols, graduates and their guests must follow all safety guideline that includes wearing face coverings and social distancing. Officials said extensive cleaning and disinfecting will happen between ceremonies.
According to the press release, electronic tickets are required for the graduates and their guests. Tickets are free, but graduates must register to attend.
