Ridgeway Road bridge nears completion; re-opening planned soon

Work continues painting and sealing the concrete surfaces of the bridge, then final cleanup will be completed. The city plans to re-open the bridge the week of Aug. 16.

A permanent vandal prevention fence will be installed on both sides of the bridge near the end of September. A temporary vandal fence will be in place on the bridge sidewalks until the permanent fence is installed.

The bridge will remain closed to traffic until all work is complete.
