Eight vehicles were involved in several crashes at an intersection in Tipp City this morning due to icy conditions.
Around 7 a.m., a pickup truck crashed into a pole at the intersection of County Road 25a at Main Street. By 7:30 a.m., five vehicles had crashed in the intersection, and by 7:45 a.m., eight vehicles had crashed, including a tow truck that responded to the scene to help.
The tow truck was struck twice.
One person was injured and taken to the hospital.
The roadway is extremely icy in the area, according to reports.
